Born in El Fuerte, Sinaloa, México. Since an early age he defines his inclinations towards art. His surroundings, a small and typical Mexican town. These images give him his first motives to express himself. A grand river with abundant vegetation, the harvest, the stone roads, the town square, the big colonial age houses and the spirit of its people. All those things filled his need to express himself through painting.

His ancestors, his town, his family; a poet as a grandfather, and a mother that would transform everyday items into pieces of art; they supported and understood him. They helped him meet his first art professor, Raul Aguilar in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico (1970).

Later on, he moves to the second largest city in México, Guadalajara, Jalisco, to develop his artistic ability, being guided by his professor Jesus Posada (1973).

His purpose was to continue his professional studies while graduating as an architect from the University of Guadalajara with the achievement of the best logo to identify his generation.
The Comboni Seminary assigned him the duty of making the main image for their chapel, an interpretation of the “Virgin Mary” with all the abstract knowledge that this takes (1983).

He travels to southeast México, to investigate the Mayan culture and their architecture, creating 18 oil paintings as a visual identification of each place. With this he was able to do his thesis in architecture, which was exposed in Paris receiving a recognition (1985).

A study trip begins in Vancouver, Canada where he created an ad for the Restaurant "Le Rail Car". He travels to Cairo, Egypt taking graphic notes on the culture and then travels to Jerusalem to study the sacred city.

After this, he decides to return to Mexico contributing artworks at auction in "The Stairway Gallery Café" in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Combining his artistic work with the architecture.

Artistic work of Alberto Padilla captures the attention of one of the great masters of Mexican Plastic Mr. Armando Anguiano interviewing by him for the newspaper "The West" titling his work as "The Fantasy Chef Alberto Padilla" (2003).

During his stay in Texas, U.S.A. made several exhibitions throughout the State (2007).

Currently lives in San Jose del Cabo, BCS, México, and devotes his time to his first love, art, combining it with the architecture.

Nace un 8 de  Octubre en   El Fuerte, Sinaloa, México. Desde  muy corta edad define una  clara inclinación  hacia el  arte. Su alrededor, un   pequeño empedrado típico  pueblo mexicano, esas  imágenes  le dan  sus primeros  motivos para expresarse; un  gran río, abundante vegetación; la cosecha, las calles empedradas, su gran plaza ,sus grandes casas  coloniales  y el  espíritu de su gente.  Llenándolo de razones  para expresarse a través de sus pinturas.

Sus antecedentes, su pueblo, su familia; con un poeta como abuelo, y una madre que transformaba los objetos comunes   en  obras   artísticas;   ellos  lo  apoyan, ellos  lo entienden; ellos lo ayudan a conocer su primer maestro el artista Raúl Aguilar en Los Mochis,  Sinaloa, México (1970).

Más  tarde, se mueve  a la segunda  ciudad  más   grande  de  México;  Guadalajara, Jalisco, desarrollarse en su primer  habilidad,  la pintura,  inducido  por el  prestigioso artista Jesús Posada (1973).

Su propósito continuar sus  estudios  profesionales   y al  mismo tiempo se gradúa de arquitecto en la Universidad de Guadalajara ganando el reconocimiento  por ser  el mejor  diseño del logotipo  que  identificaría su generación (1978-1983).

El Seminario Comboniano le asigna el trabajo de hacer la  imagen principal  para su capilla, una  interpretación de la "Virgen de Guadalupe" con todo el abstracto conocimiento que este trabajo conlleva (1983).

Él  viaja  al  sureste de México, a investigar la cultura Maya  y su  Arquitectura, creando18 pinturas al óleo como identificación visual de  cada  sitio, haciendo  con  esta investigación su  tesis de  Arquitectura, habiendo sido  expuesta  en  Paris a la  vez  recibiendo  un  reconocimiento (1985).

Un  viaje de estudios  principia   en  Vancouver,  Canadá  donde  crea  un  anuncio para el Restauran "Le Rail Car". Viaja a  El Cairo, Egipto, haciendo  apuntes  gráficos de  esta  cultura; siendo Jerusalén la  próxima en turno donde él estudia gráficamente la ciudad santa (1989).

Después de  esto, el decide regresar  a México  contribuyendo  con obras artísticas en una subasta en  "La Escalera Gallería Café"  en Guadalajara,  Jalisco,  México.  Combinando su trabajo artístico con la arquitectura. (1994).

El trabajo  artístico de Alberto Padilla capta la  atención de uno de los más grandes maestros de  la Plástica  Mexicana el Sr. Armando Anguiano  entrevistado  por él para el periódico  “El Occidental” titulando su trabajo como “La Fantasía Creativa de Alberto Padilla”  (2003).

En su estancia en Texas, U.S.A. realizó varias exposiciones a través del Estado (2007).

Actualmente vive en San José del Cabo, B.C.S., México y  dedica su tiempo a su primera pasión, el arte, conjugándolo con la arquitectura
